Sunday 16th October, Cadaques, after a really good ride over the mountain roads where we got well and truly trounced by a Honda fireblade round the bends we arrived at Cadaques for stroll around this weekly coastal town.

Sunday 2nd October, Cirq Lapopie…. Phew!!! Last village we’re all villages out this one reminded me of the 1st Lord of rings when the hobbits 1st met Aragon …. But we’re still smiling now looking forward to the beach
Saturday 1st October, Rocamadour, again another french beautiful village site and again very touristy, this one reminding me of the ‘Lord of the Rings’ films part 3 Aragon’s kingdom with steps up to the main citadel. We walked from the top to the bottom and back up
Thursday 29th September, Beynac,this town is only a few miles away from Sarlat, a really touristy place but it did have a castle which was used for several scenes for the Joan of arc film
Wednesday 28th September, Sarlat-la-Canéda.this town has 259 listed buildings and its market day
Monday 26th September, Monpazier in the Dordogne, this supposed to be in the top 5 most beautiful villages in France, we don’t actually agree with this as we have been to lots more prettier ones
Saturday 24th September, Bergerac. a few pics of Bergerac’s market, it is reportedly the largest on in the area and big it was. There were lots of British here again.
Wednesday 21st September, St Emilion in the Dordogne region famous for its grand cru wine, we did a 12km round tour of the famous vineyards
Our 1st restaurant meal, as you can gather we’re not spending again so we’re splashing out on the food budget
This town is very prosperous, a very posh Marie
The view looking towards our campsite amongst the vines, there are lots of 1st grand cru vineyards here and when looking around the shops this is reflected in the price the Ave bottle coming out at €30. To steep for us we’ll stick to the €3 bottle …. Still get tipsy the same
